
Real time environment created within UE4 using The Division as inspiration. The idea is that it is an abandoned subway system that people have converted into a living area for people seeking shelter. This was one of the first times I have properly incorporated UE4's Decal system to create all the graffiti, puddles and dirt marks to break up the seamless areas of material. I also used UE4's visual scripting system to create a spline blueprint used to create the yellow cables that are scattered around linking the lights to the power boxes. I also messed around in 3DS max with the cloth modifier and an old human model I create to make the body bags seen hidden in some of the levels corners to add more atmosphere and realism into the environment, as well as add some backstory into the level.
